As the year 2021 winds up and 2022 beckons, Romeo & Zainab Boudib (ROMZAIB) Foundation has extended greetings to Nigerians, while expressing hope of brighter prospects in the New Year.
In a statement signed by Founder/CEO ROMZAIB, Dr Halimah Sanda (MPH, FRSPH), she wished all Nigerians a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
“We all must contribute our quota in making Nigeria the land of our dreams. By all working towards sustaining peace, we would make good progress and make our country the envy of others,” she said.
According to the statement, the negativity witnessed in 2021 as a result of COVID-19 and insecurity ravaging several parts of the country is memories that should be left behind and hope for a better 2022.
“To us at ROMZAIB, 2022 brings a bright hope of a new start for all of us to choose our destiny and show commitment to bringing it to reality,” she charged.
According to her, all Nigerians should be united in prayers for the leaders of the country at all levels.
“We must trust on the Almighty and fervently pray for our leaders from the federal, state and local government level. We must also pray for our law enforcement agencies as well as the youth of this country.
“We have great potentials. Let us collectively harness it and take our people out of poverty and insecurity,” she charged.
