Angry Nigerians Say Ghana Don't Deserve To Be Africa's Hub For Twitter

Yesterday, the Chief Executive Officer of Twitter, Mr Jack Dorsey announced that Twitter has selected Ghana to establish it’s Headquarters in Africa.

Following the announcement by Jack Dorsey in a tweet explaining why they chose Ghana, he tweeted, “in line with [its] growth strategy… to truly serve the public conversation, we must be more immersed in the rich and vibrant communities that drive the conversations taking place every day across the African continent.”

President Nana Akufo-Addo upon sighting on the news could not hide his excitement, he retweeted, “The choice of Ghana as HQ for Twitter’s Africa operations is EXCELLENT news. Gov’t and Ghanaians welcome very much this announcement and the confidence reposed in our country.”

Ghanaians on twitter also jumped in jubilation following Twitter decision to establish its Headquarters in Ghana.

However, Nigerians on twitter think differently as they disagree with twitter citing that they deserve to be the hub for the micro-blogging and social networking service company instead of Ghana.

So, see how they reacted to the news on twitter
