Widespread of the various types of albinism is practically based on population,and is the highest overall in the sub- Saharan African descent.

Currently,the widespread of albinism in the sub-Saharan African is 1 in 5,000, while in Europe and America is around 1 in 20,000 of the European derived population.

However, Nigeria is ranked  amongst the highest in the world with an estimated figure over  two millions Albinos living in the country .
