Birifor Music Awards (BMA) in collaboration with Sharp Herbs, producers of Imboost Herbal Mixture, have organised the maiden Music Awards in Savannah Region.

Radio Program host and News Editor at Yagbon Radio, Chipo kwaku was at the end honoured as the Radio Program Host of the year.

His style of presentation and professionalism on air; both with the English language and with the Local dielet, placed him far ahead of the other nominated Journalists in that category.

Mr Chipo has over the past years as a practicing Journalist gained much rrecognition especially, in the Northern parts of Ghana. He has won other awards with the National Commission For Civic Education (NCCE), for his impact on the education.

He worked a while ago with the Ghana News Agency, as a regional reporter/correspondent before he was poched by his employers at Yagbon Radio. He started as a morning show host for the radio station.

Kambu Etienne, a young Burkina-Faso talent , an underground Musician ermerged Artiste of the winner of the most popular song.

Paul Guoryin bagged home the gospel artist of the year.

Etienne went home with 32″ android flat screen and Paul Goruyin got a standing fan.
