Division 1 Volleyball League: Kaduna Bauchi,Kwara Katsina Teams shines

The Division one Volleyball League currently going on at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, ABS, kicked off with exciting win for home team Kada Kings .

Kada Kings dazzled the crowd at the ABS indoor Gymnastic Hall by beating Yola Spikers of Adamawa in match 3 of the first day . The match ended 3-0 (25:17, 25:12 and 25:14) in favour of Kada Kings

Also in the same game 3, Bauchi Spikers roundedly spiked their Equity of Kebbi 3.0 in a pulsating and thrilling encounter

In  the first match, Kwara United surmounted hard fighting Caliphate Spikers of Sokoto 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-21) to clinch all the points,

while Katsina United came from behind to beat Oyo State 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 25-18 and 25-20) in four sets.

An elated Chairman,caretaker committee of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, NVBF, Eng. Nimrod Musa expressed happiness  with the performance of the players and assured that it will get better.

He appealed to spirited individuals and organisations to help in the area of sponsorship of volleyball.
