30-year old forward, Ransford Osei has retired from professional football.
The former Black Satellites forward revealed this to Humble Ike on Youtube during an interview.
Ransford Osei now residents in Germany.
The former Asante Kotoko striker last played for Lithuanian side FK Palanga which was his 11th club throughout his professional career.
He became famous in 2009 after leading the Black Satellites to glory in the Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup in Egypt.
They won that game against Brazil on penalty shootout.
He won the golden boot in the 2007 Africa U-17 Championship and 2009 Africa Youth Championship.
Osei also won the silver boot in the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Ransford Osei made only two senior appearance for the Black Stars.
In the local league, Osei played for Medeama SC, Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko.
And in Europe, he featured for clubs like FC Twente, Granada and FK Palanga among others.
