Michael Gyapah, Managing Director of G4S Ghana, has been inducted into the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame.
Presented at the foundation’s second event in Accra, Michael was joined by 15 other accomplished Ghanaian businessmen and distinguished chief executive officers of state institutions and private organisations.
They were joined by specially selected invitees comprising government officials, economic ministers, and CEOs of organisations and regulatory agencies.
Those in attendance were told that Michael’s plaque and citation acknowledged his knack for business and leadership capabilities, and for supporting corporate Ghana and the national economy.
“I am elated,” said Michael at the ceremony. “Clearly, this is a testament to our business’s contribution as one of the biggest employers in Ghana and the many lives we’ve touched in the nearly 20 years of operations in Ghana.
“We aim to expand and diversify to create more opportunities for the Ghanaian youth while supporting and contributing to the continual growth of the Ghanaian economy.”
G4S Ghana specialises in the development of security solutions and services in the west African country. It has a workforce of more than 7,000 people, providing manned security, electronic security, and cash management solutions.
The Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame is conceptualised as a grouping of selected current and former chairpersons and leading CEOs in Ghana’s business sector. It recognises and celebrates their achievements for posterity, for commemoration and for others to emulate.
