Member of Parliament (MP) for Atiwa East Constituency of the Eastern Region who doubles as deputy finance minister, Hon. Abena Osei Asare, is optimistic Ghana’s economy will bounce back from its present challenges including rising inflation and the exchange rate depreciation.
According to her, the country’s economy will return to the path of growth and stable macroeconomic environment, and therefore Ghanaians and investors should have confident in this Nana Addo led government.
She made this known when cutting sod for the construction of 6 unit classroom block and 6 unit toilet facility at Tiawia Subrisu, 6 unit classroom block and 6 unit toilet facility at Adasawase, 6 unit classroom block and 6 unit toilet facility at Abekwase, 6 unit classroom block and 6 unit toilet facility at Enyirasi and also Boys and Girls Dormitory for Anyinam TVET all in Atiwa East municipality.
Speaking to newsmen she said, Ghana has a proud history of coming out of challenges in ways that had built strong buffers and adequate resilience for the future.
Hon. Abena Osei Asare therefore called on Ghanaians to show patriotism in supporting Nana Addo led government to save the economy from imminent collapse.
