A 26-year-old Afi Jessica has been stabbed to death by her alleged cheating husband on Thursday August 5, 2021 at Bibiani.

Jessica met her untimely death after being stabbed by a man identified as Emmanuel Okyere Baffour said to be her husband over issues of him cheating on her with her acclaimed best friend.

The deceased started receiving threats from the said husband after he was caught red-handed cheating on her with her best friend.

News gathered is that the deceased decided to divorce her suspected husband over the cheating issues, packed her belongings and left to her family. Okyere chased and attacked the victim at her parents’ house with a knife and allegedly stabbed her multiple times to death.

Speaking to Ghana News Agency, the Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai divisional crime officer, superintendent Seth Sewornu explained that the relatives of the deceased reported the incident to their office. The police followed up and found the lifeless body of Jessica in a pool of blood at her parents’ residence.

The body has since been deposited at the Bibiani government hospital morgue waiting for autopsy, while the suspect is said to be on the run.
