Gyakie became well-known after her most popular song, “Forever,” amassed over a million streams across all music platforms. The song quickly became one of the most popular and widely streamed in the country.

She later recorded a remix with Omah Lay, a Nigerian artist, and gained some Nigerian fans as a result.

Fast forward to now, and Gyakie has become the first African woman to partner with Spotify, putting her ahead of her music industry competitors.

Gyakie stated that her father, Nana Acheampong, a music icon, has given her a lot of advice and that she is happy to be his daughter.She  alsostated that she wrote a song when she was six years old, which she plans to release for her followers and other music lovers across the world very soon.
