Shemima of Date Rush fame has said in an interview that Ali cannot handle her because when she paid him a visit at home, he gave an excuse and ran away.

While speaking in an interview with Zionfelix and sighted by Mintah.net, the duo teamed up to talk about life after choosing each other on the show some episodes ago.

Shemima was asked whether she had visited Ali at home before and she responded in the affirmative but indicated that something bizarre happened during the visit.

She said Ali was not going to be able to handle her but the male Date Rush contestant begged to differ and said he was a ‘dogo yaro’.

Shemima then came in and said Ali was being economical with the truth because when she entered his room, he quickly found an excuse and left the room because he did not know how to handle her.

Shemima continued that Ali excused himself and was not returning after about 30 minutes or more.

She went on to recount that she decided to call him only to realise that he had turned his phone off as well.

Ali rebutted and explained that he received a call from his mother, which is why he left Shemima alone in the room.
