Information reaching our desk is that Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has resigned from the Appointment Committee.
According to the MP, his decision to resign is personal and principle.
This resignation comes on beck of rumor that some NDC MPs in Minority has accused of taken huge sum of money in Parliament and Appointment Committee to approve the appointee of President Akufo-Addo led administration.
This issue sparked a of reactions from Ghanaians and some NDC bigwigs believed the NDC MPs in Parliament betrayed the party.
Sammy Gyamfi in particular came out to slam the Minority in Parliament MPs for letting the party down after they approved some Ministers designated.
In an official letter sighted by Mintah.net, Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa addressed the letter to the Speaker of Parliament, Mr Alban Bagbin to resign from the Appointment Committee.
