Kwara SA on Sports Inspires Female Team to Cruising Win over Zamfara, Says Male Team Ready For Kada Kada Kings
The Kwara State Special Adviser on Sports and Youth Development, Attahiru Ibrahim inspired the Kwara female Volleyball team to rousing win over Zamfara girls in the ongoing National Division One Volley League .
The SA to Governor Abdulrazak Abulrahman stormed the indoor sports complex, Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna on Thursday evening just before the Kwara female team engaged their Zamfara counterparts.
He then had a brief chat with the girls and their trainers , urging them to make Governor Abdulrahman and Kwara State proud .
As action Kickstarted, Kwara girls dominated the Zamfara Spikers in the first two straight sets in breathtaking and pulsating encounters with the Zamfara Spikers playing catch.
Zamfara girls girls however rallied in the third set coming out strongly and dominating Kwara . in addition, Zamfara girls were able to skillfully make use of two Spikers who confused tremendous damage to Kwara.
Zamfara led the third set with 3 points till Kwara found a counter to the Spikers from Zamfara
At the end of the set, Kwara subdued Zamfara with 27 – 25
Overall, Kwara won by beating Zamfara in all the three sets
Speaking after the match,Attahiru Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the Kwara team saying that he knew from the onset that Kwara would defeat Zamfara and any other team
“I am very satisfied that our girls outpaced, outclassed and outplayed the Zamfara girls but I am not surprised at all. The fact is that, His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman provided our team with all the needed stuff – materially and otherwise to be the best , he boasted.
“The way you see the female team played today, would be the way the male would play any team tomorrow .
Speaking about the face-off between his team and Kada Kings on Saturday, the Special Adviser on Sports boasted that his team would beat the Kada Kings black and white .
” I can assure you that our boys would beat Kada Kings with superlative ease on Saturday , in fact, they will beat the Kaduna boys black and blue, the SA on Sports further added,
