National Communications Director of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has asserted that former President John Dramani Mahama will lead the party as the flag bearer in 2024.

His comments come after many party sympathizers suggested that Mr. Mahama should step down as the flag bearer so that another candidate takes over as their leader.

Surveys from a lot of International Organizations have also predicted a win for NDC in 2024 only if they elect a new person as their flag bearer to compete with the ruling NPP in the 2024 general election.

But Mr. Sammy Gyamfi addressing students of University of Cape Coast said that Mr. Mahama will still lead the party to victory in 2024 by ‘hook or crook’.

He revealed that he was among the team who audited the pink sheets before the party headed to Supreme Court and the outcome of the 2020 presidential election was a stolen verdict.
