The journey to becoming the next Miss Malaika queen has begun up with 30 beautiful ladies graduating to the final stage which is “THE FINISHING SCHOOL”, to compete for the bragging right as miss Malaika queen and the golden crown.

They were chosen during the second phase of the auditions on 24th July 2021 in the final stage. Out the 30 ladies, 20 of them will be shortlisted and presented as the last contestants who will grace the grand finale.  They interacted in turns with a panel of 3 judges – Naa Ashorkor Mensah Doku, Elikem Kumordzi and winner of 2012 miss Malaika, Sharon Coffie.

The final stage will see these 20 beautiful ladies been selected by competing in intelligence, know-how and character to make it to the grand finale. The first auditions came off on 17th July 2021 at the Tomreik hotel in Accra where 45 ladies were shortlisted from over 200 ladies aspiring for the miss Malaika crown.

Miss Malaika’s reigning queen, Jasmin Djang shared her experience by expressing the impact miss Malaika brought into her life. “One thing I took away from the experience is that, in as much as outer beauty is important, the growth that happens inwardly is what will make you standout, and that is exactly what miss Malaika gave to me and I believe, to other ladies who ever participated”.

The 30 ladies in the final stage list are, Beatrice, Frimpomaa, Abena, Eileen, Hilary, Ama, Winnie, Marqueen, Bintou, Lazo, Iris, Esinam, Gina, Pristine, Pokua, Diva, Vanessa, Jennifer, Pearl, Mercy, Nguseli, Emy, Doreen, Marilyn and Valienne. These ladies believe faith is moved by works and therefore solicit for votes to secure each of them in the run to becoming the next miss Malaika queen 2021.

Miss Malaika is a beauty pageant which is produced by Charterhouse Ghana and shows this and every Sunday at 8pm on GHOne TV at 9pm, on MX24 and EBN TV.
