Some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have registered a new slogan dubbed ” Bawumia Must Win (BMW) Fitafita” to support the Presidential bid of Ghana’s Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the party to victory in the 2024 Elections.

The group said their assessment across the nationwide about the NPP Presidential Primaries has revealed the Vice President, is likely to win the Flagbearership race.

It continued it was certain their favourite, Bawumia, stands tall in the upcoming general election as the next President; hence the new slogan, “Bawumia Must Win – Fitafita.”

They believe his victory will be unprecedented.

Spokesman for the group, Ishmael Olegor in a statement observed the major assessment which will make the flagbearership race and the general election easy is his efforts to spearhead the digitization drive of the government which is positively impacting service delivery across all sectors, which has also making doing business in the country easier.

Ishmael hinted the group would soon launch series of activities in the coming weeks and step out openly, to campaign for the Vice President.

Their intent is in relation to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi’s last week outdooring of the slogan; Bawumia Must Win (BMW).

The slogan seems to be taking over the elephant fraternity across the country and gone viral on social media as delegates look forward to giving Dr. Bawumia the nod to lead the party into the 2024 general elections as their flagbearer.

Ishmael emphacised Bawumia’s digitalization agenda is the future Ghana needs.

He stressed that the entire concept of science and technology is predicated on inventing solutions to making life easier for people.

However, political analysts in Ghana said the NPP’s flagbearership race will be a defining moment for the party, as it will make or break the party.

The front-runners for the ruling party are Dr. Bawumia, Trade and Industry Minister, John Alan Kyerematen, and Kennedy Agyapong, the MP of Assin Central.
