His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has left Ghana for the United Kingdom since yesterday, Monday, November 13, 2022.

In a statement chanced upon by mintah.net, the Communication Bureau at the Presidency disclosed the President shall be in London for two days, on a private visit.

It stated, “The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, left Ghana, on Sunday, 13th November 2022, for a two-day private visit to the United Kingdom.”

According to the press release President Akufo-Addo will return to Ghana on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

It revealed that per article 60(8) of the 1992 constitution, Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamadu Bawumia shall administer in the stead of the President whiles he is away.
