Accra Circuit Court 9 presided over by Samuel Acquah has remanded Seth Kwame Sallah, leader of Rhema of Total Grace Chapel International into police custody for forging the signature of a businessman.

Bishop Dr Seth Kwame Sallah is accused of forging land documents contrary to section 158 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960.

According to the State Prosecutor, DSP Kesse, the supposed man of God, who is also the CEO of Setho Classic Engineering Company Ltd forged the signature of Mr. Annang Atokro, a businessman in Ashaiman.

The accused’s counsel, Lawyer Kpodovia appealed to the court to temper justice with mercy.

After the arguments from the prosecution and the defence counsel, the Circuit Court judge, Samuel Acquah remanded him into police custody.

The case has been adjourned to Thursday, 15th December, 2022.
