The NDC Are Economically Empty- Headed—Alfred Thompson

by Isaac Mintah

Mr.Alfred Thompson, Former Deputy Director for National Investment Bank (NIB) has labeled opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), economically bankrupt.

In his view, the NDC has failed to give alternative ideas after rejecting the Debt Exchange programme by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.

Mr Thompson wondered what the ideas of the NDC in managing the economy were.

The former NIB deputy manager made this observation on Accra based television station, TV3, yesterday December 6, 2022 and appealed to the people of Ghana to support the programme he believes will bring the economy back on track.

“You ask the NDC what their alternative measure is; and they cant give. The the opposition couldn’t give any alternative.

“I am pleading with everybody to support this just to bring our economy back on track. If we want to bring the economy back we all have to be in this together,” he said.
