Two Killed, Several Injured After Bus Overturns in Upper East Region

According to reports, the accident occurred when the driver of the bus allegedly handed over control to his mate. The mate then lost control of the vehicle after it hit a speed ramp, causing it to overturn.
Adam Iddrisu Emmanuel, a passenger on the bus, recounted the incident, saying, "This morning when we were coming from Kumasi to Bawku, the driver applied the brake, and I don’t know what happened, but the car lost balance and hit the bridge."
The bus, which had loaded passengers in Kumasi at Adehyeman near Kejetia, was en route to Garu when the accident happened. The tragic incident resulted in the instant deaths of two passengers and left many others injured.
