‘You’ll know the policies if you take a moment in the chartered jet to read NDC’s manifesto’ – Mahama to Akufo-Addo

Former President John Mahama has called on his successor Nana Akufo-Addo to read the National Democratic Congress’s 2020 manifesto (The People’s Manifesto) to value the solutions which his party – the NDC – has to combat Ghana’s countless troubles.

In a Facebook post on Monday, the immediate past President stated that ‘if only he took a moment, in the comfort of his chartered jet, to read the People’s manifesto,’ the President could have learnt about the ‘well-thought-through and costed’ policies which the opposition has to change the lives of Ghanaians.

Mr Mahama’s remarks were in response of comments made by the President, while speaking at the NPP’s National Delegates Conference on Saturday, December 18, which took place in Kumasi.

In response, Mr Mahama swiftly accused the President of causing financial loss to the country through his luxurious spending and serving the nation with ‘rabble-rousing skits’.

Mr Mahama has promised to hand over a copy of his party’s manifesto to the President. ‘I am willing to provide him with an autographed copy of the manifesto’ he stated.
