Addressing concerns raised by Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Chairman of the Appointment Committee, regarding the quality of food served in SHSs, Hon. Nyarko emphasized that the Ministry would not compromise on the provision of nutritious meals to students.
He underscored the importance of prioritizing students' welfare, especially in essential areas such as food, and assured that the government is implementing monitoring interventions to ensure the delivery of quality meals to learners.
In response to heightened public outcry following a documentary by Joy News, the Education Ministry has initiated a nationwide fact-finding mission to address concerns and improve food standards in SHSs.
